Rietberg’s historic past as former county residence and capital has characterized the historic centre of the state-approved spa. Half-timbered houses restored with devotion, lovely gardens, little studios and a quaint gastronomy encourage
discovering and staying. Always worth a visit: barriers free “Gartenschaupark Rietberg” (home of NRW horticulture show 2008). Attractions and leisure facilities for all age groups are awaiting the visitors.
