Post Mill Oppenwehe

Oppenwehe is renowned for its asparagus. Every year on the 1st May an Asparagus market takes place. And in the Oppenwehe moor – a highlight of the Dümmer nature park - you will still find endangered plant and wildlife in all its beauty and manifoldness!
Various circular hiking trails enable visitors to ramble through the moor and grassland.
It is also worthwhile visiting the 300 year–old Oppenwehe post mill. On milling and baking day, fresh warm mill bread is on offer to taste.
