Haller Willem Monument in the Town Centre

This Westphalian town counting 21.500 inhabitants has a unique ring of
half-timbered houses around the church of St. John, called the “Haller Herz” (Heart of Halle) and impresses with its infrastructure. Attractive places of interest like the moated castle “Tatenhausen” and the look-out “Kaffeemühle” (coffee-mill), a 27-hole golf course and more than 200 kilometres of bike and hiking trails add to the well-being of locals and visitors alike. The Gerry Weber Stadium, famous for its international lawn tennis tournament is a highlight as well. World stars of sport and music come here regularly for special events.
