The community of Kirchlengern has approx. 16,000 inhabitants and covers an area of 33.79 square kilometres, starting at the Southern slopes of the
Wiehengebirge in the North to the Else river and beyond the Else valley up to the “Kahlen Berg” mountain in the South.
In Kirchlengern, the water park “Aqua Fun” – situated close to the BikeTrainTour – guarantees fun and enjoyment for the entire family. The Else is the third biggest river in the county and feeds the “Elseaue” - a nature preservation area of transregional ecologic importance offering many relaxing spots for nature lovers.
