Syke
Syke is situated amidst the wooded areas Friedeholz and Westermark. Well signposted cycle trails emphasise the beauty of the landscape. A special tip is “Hohe Berg” (high mountain) with its watch out tower. There you have a
marvellous panoramic view over the ancient Weser river valley and Bremen. The Kreismuseum (County museum), the Dorfmuseum (Village museum) and the Syker Vorwerk (Centre of contemporary art) are always worth a visit. And the cultural programmes of the Syke theatre or the Naturbühne (Nature stage) Wolfsschlucht complement the cultural scene.
